Samsung Dropship, a new file sharing app
Currently there are several apps for sharing files from one device to another, but users have to face various constraints. To get rid of that suffering, Samsung launched a new file sharing app.
It is quite different from other file sharing apps available today. Through the new app called Dropship, files can be shared not only on Android but also on iPhone.
The app can send files to multiple devices at the same time. A QR code is generated after uploading the file to the host device. The file can be received only by scanning it from another device.
However, a maximum file size of 5 GB per day can be sent using Dropship. It is also initially opened to users in South Korea. The user must have a Samsung account to send files, but the recipient does not.
Since the file will be shared through the Internet, the transfer speed in this app will not be as fast as other file sharing apps including Shareit.
